A good collage starts with a clear subject. Pick a few photos that belong together, then use the layout and crop controls to give each image enough room.
Open the collage maker and select photos from your device. Multi-photo upload can choose a layout to match the number of pictures. Use the layout panel if you want a different arrangement; grid layouts support up to ten photos.
A regular grid suits photos of equal importance. A hero layout gives one picture more space. Freeform layouts let you position photo cards individually.
Select a photo and drag it to frame the subject. Fill covers its cell and can trim the edges. Fit shows the whole image and may leave space around it. Use zoom to refine the crop, and review faces and text near the edges after changing the layout.
Choose a background that works with the photos. Start with a small gap and a consistent border. Add a short title using a text preset, then move it into an area where it stays readable. Filters and Magic Auto-Enhance can help balance images taken in different lighting.
Open Export to preview your collage. PNG is useful for crisp text and graphics; JPEG usually produces a smaller file for photos; WebP is another compact option when the destination supports it. The dialog shows the pixel dimensions for your chosen export scale.
A downloaded image is flattened. Save a .collage project too if you want to edit individual photos or text later. Guest drafts stay in this browser; signed-in drafts sync to your account.
